I remember getting the call...and my world just exploded.
In 2013, Carol Herring was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her life changed forever. In our interview, she tells her story of survival, and shares valuable advice about how to communicate with cancer. Her positive attitude is inspirational, and her smile infectious.

Many of us know someone who has had cancer, or for some, have experienced it first-hand. But sometimes we simply avoid discussing it and don't know what to say when talking about cancer with a loved one. Do you call? Do you reach out? And on the patient side, how do you ask for help?

In this episode, we'll talk about:
  • The people side of the cancer journey
  • How to honestly and authentically talk about illness
  • How to ask your friends and family for help
  • The power of positivity and gratitude
  • Battling body issues and being beautifully empowered
  • Lessons to share for patients-- communications advice and beyond
We hope you're as inspired by Carol's story as we are.
